My name is Steffen Helbing. For more than 30 years, I have been committed to supporting people with disabilities – especially the Deaf community.
An important milestone has already been achieved: German Sign Language was included in the CDU election program on December 17, 2024.
Our goal remains clear: The legal recognition of DGS as a minority language in Germany.
To achieve this, we work together with politics, universities and experts, as well as committed supporters worldwide.
